Welcome to the website of Saint David's Beaver Scouts. This is a new venture for us and I hope you won't be too critical. Any tips you website maestro's care to pass on will be very much appreciated as are the comments of all you surfers ~ young and not so young.
281st Saint David's takes children between the ages of 6 and 8 and is usually a child's first introduction to scouting. Some colonies take girls and boys whilst others just take boys. Saint David's is a colony for boys only.
In keeping with the Beaver Scout motto, the object of Beaver Scoutng is to have FUN and make FRIENDS. Saint David's is a popular group and we have a waiting list, and unfortunately we have boys on our waiting list who should now be Beaver Scouts but for whom we do not currently have vacancies.
We meet once a week during term time and although we are a church supported group, no religion, race or creed is excluded.
